November prayer letter 2025

Prayer Letter for November 2025

Who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth..”

– 1 Timothy 2:4

Dear Pastors, co-workers, and prayer partners: Peace be with you in the Lord!

With the rise of the internet and new media, many asked: Is the traditional gospel radio outdated? Should we abandon costly shortwave expenses and shift entirely to online platforms?

Praise the Lord! In early October, the host of our bible truth-teaching program traveled to under developed remote areas in China for training purpose, and personally witnessed local believers in the mountainous and rural areas are still relying on semiconductor (radio) to listen to our broadcasts. For them, the radio remains the most reliable way of getting spiritual nourishment. This once again confirms God’s guidance: alongside online broadcasting, for more than 50 years, proclaiming biblical truth through shortwave radio has not diminished its necessity and value.

At the same time, we thank God for guiding us last year to launch a new program for children – “Little Lamb Bible Stories”, which has been deeply embraced by parents. To help children focus more on learning the scriptures, we are producing “videos with picture-book style” to integrate images and bible verses. These will be uploaded to YouTube and promoted to Sunday schools in various churches as audio teaching resources for teachers.

Amid the flourishing of AI and diverse media, may the Lord grant us wisdom to make good use of every platform so that more people may hear the gospel and come to know the truth. As 2025 draws to a close, we sincerely invite you to continue supporting the Voice of Salvation through prayers and offerings that more souls may hear the truth through radio, experience grace and receive eternal hope.

 [Thanksgivings, Updates, and Prayer Requests]

1. Thanksgiving: At the end of September, our Director General visited our important mission partner in Hong Kong – Far East Broadcasting Corporation (Hong Kong) – and had a pleasant exchange with the pastors and staff there. We thank God for their understanding and support, and for providing us with very favorable rates for broadcasting programs via shortwave and the internet.

2. Thanksgiving: The Voice of Salvation co-workers have served in the Bible study conference for nearly thirty years. This year, we were invited to be a preparatory partner for the [Bible study conference, Taipei]. We are deeply grateful for the Lord's grace to be able to work with churches and organizations to uphold the truth and spread the truth.

3. Prayer request: Please pray for the arrangements and contacts with churches for the 2026 “Media Mission Sundays of VOS”. May the Lord move more pastors and churches to open opportunities for the Voice of Salvation to share the grace and testimonies God has accomplished through VOS.

4. Prayer request: The Voice of Salvation is a non-profit organization with a mission to proclaim the gospel. We thank the Lord for His guidance over the past 52 years, and all our funding comes from the voluntary donations and support of our brothers and sisters. Given the recent economic and global challenges, as of now, our ministry budget for 2025 still has a shortfall of approximately US$133,500. We earnestly ask brothers and sisters to support us in prayers and offerings.

[Letters / Messages from Listeners]

◎ From Taiwan … For the past three Sunday afternoons, I've listened to the Voice of Salvation’s program -"Cloud of Witnesses". The testimonies shared by pastors and believers about experiencing God’s grace always moved me deeply and left a lasting impression— I resonated, reflected repeatedly, and cannot forget. … The prison, where every inmate longs to leave as early as possible became the turning point where I received grace and God’s calling. My daily routine of reading the Bible and prayer has built an intimate connection with Lord Jesus. ….I hope one day to create a gospel program specifically for prisoners, to accompany them through their imprisonment, comfort their hearts, and help them repent and turn to Christ...

◎ From China … Greetings! Teacher Qi Yun, I’m your faithful listener. I have been listening to your "Light of Truth" program since I was sixteen or seventeen years old, almost thirty years now. Your patient teaching has helped me through the ups and downs of these years, comforting me through every lonely night. I never imagined 30 years would pass in a flash. … Emmanuel…
◎ From China … Rongzi’s testimony was so touching. Look forward to hearing the life testimony of her husband Xiu-san Huang in the next broadcasting…
◎ From China … Host, I’d like to know is Depression really that terrifying? …
◎ From China …My father was diagnosed with late-stage bile duct cancer in May… My greatest concern right at this moment is how to help him believe that there is a true living God. I don’t want him to go to hell; I want him to go to heaven. How should I pray to move God to change him? I've countless times felt grateful for God because sometimes I feel this world making people so sad. Thanks to God, we have hope; otherwise, how desperate we would be. But when it came to my father’s situation, I feel so helpless. I know everything is in God's hand, but I've never been in so much pain. In the past, before I spoke out a word or was even with just a small thought—God answered me. Sooner or later, I've given countless testimonies, and thank God for everything. But what should I do now? Even in such difficult times, I thank God that we finally survived the sweltering heat and welcomed the beginning of autumn. I so hope my father can also overcome this obstacle and see the dawn of life. Please pray for me…

[Comments from Bible Correspondence Course Students]

◎ Student Lin …I am a Christian already. However, taking the introductory course brought me back to the state when I first became a believer. It rebuilt me and taught me how to guide others as well. When prayers got no answered and life hits the valley, hectic life causes spiritual laziness, faith just grows cold, I may feel disconnected with God, or lose of passion in faith once I had. This course helps me to return to the beginning of faith, recall my testimony of grace, and remember that initial love that is so deep and pure. Thank you for this materials; it awakened and reminded me, confirming I have not forgotten my initial faith…
◎ Student Weng …Through this course, I have come to know God's love and salvation once again. I had already accepted Jesus as my life’s Savior, yet due to religious systems that may require “good behaviors,” I often forgot that God’s salvation and love do not reply on human works—His love is given freely, and Jesus died for us while we were still sinners. I have a more abundant life through Him, be far from the disturbances of death and darkness, and always remember the love I have received from God.
◎ Student Huang … Through this course, I re-examined my understanding of faith, rethinking the meaning of sins, salvation, and what does it mean to be born again . I realized how great the loving God's plan is. Jesus is my savior; He is center of my life and my Lord. I must reflect my life more often to see whether it aligns with God’s will, return to Him in repentance, and live worthy of the grace received. I also want my life to be a beautiful testimony, a light and blessing among people, so others may see Christ’s love…
◎ Student Deng … Receiving the correspondence course materials from the teacher was the happiest thing took place this week. After getting the bible, I began reading it every day. Sometimes the content is so captivating that I read more. This time, I have a question for the teacher…
