Prayer Letter for December 2025
“In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins”.
~ 1 John 4:9-10
Dear pastors, co-workers and prayer partners: Grace and peace in the Lord, Merry Christmas!
December is a season full of grace and hope.
Amid the twinkling lights of the city and the churches united in worship and praise, we once again reflect on the miracle that surpasses human understanding— God’s Son, Jesus, became flesh to grant salvation and eternal hope to all who trust in Him; He came to save His people from their sins; and this is love.
Since 2003, the “Voice of Salvation” has received the mission - Let all the Chinese around the world hear the voice of salvation. Thank God that the gospel radio programs we produced are transcending sky that are borderless, reaching places we cannot personally arrive, accompanying countless people that are struggling at night and searching for answers to life.
A listener’s message:
“...Ever since I was sixteen or seventeen, I have been listening to the ‘Light of Truth’ program you host, and up to now it has been nearly thirty years. Your patient teachings have accompanied me through all the ups and downs throughout these years, and been with me through every lonely and solitary night...”
Thank God that this year we have once again witnessed many lives transformed by the gospel—some rising again from darkness, some finding brand-new hope, and some having their hearts touched by God upon hearing the gospel for the first time.
All of these being possible because of your support, offerings, and intercessions, enabling us to work together with the Lord and witness His wonderful works.
As we are about to enter into 2026, we sincerely invite you to continue standing shoulder to shoulder with us, so that the voice of the gospel never stops, and hope reaches more hearts that have never heard of the gospel and are waiting to be touched.
【Thanksgiving, Updates, and Prayer Requests】
- Praise the Lord! The data and statistics from our cooperative platforms show that our programs have exceeded 1.4 million clicks of listening since Jan. to the end of October this year. Pray that the Lord opens wider paths that gospel can touch more souls.
- Next year, 34 churches have already invited us to share about the Voice of Salvation ministry. We are grateful for every opportunity to connect, hoping that churches will become our supporters, and we can become an outreach to many churches for their ministries.
- The Voice of Salvation is a non-profit organization with the mission of proclaiming the gospel. We thank the Lord for His guidance over the past 52 years; all funding comes entirely from the voluntary offerings and support of churches, brothers, and sisters. The total ministry budget for 2025 is NTD8.23 million (around US$265,500), and as of the end of November, we are still short by NTD3.32 million (around US$107,100). We earnestly ask brothers and sisters to join in heartfelt support through prayers and offerings. (For offering information, please refer to the details below.)
【Letters/Messages from Program Listeners】
◎ Listener from Taiwan: …I really enjoy the rhythm that Brother Xia Fan tells stories. Besides the children’s Bible stories, are there any other recorded programs by him?…
◎ Listener from Taiwan: …I absolutely love the Children’s Bible Stories… I’ve been listening every night before bed for over a year now. My favorites are the stories of King David and Esther… Listening each day makes me feel so peaceful…
◎ Listener from China: …Sister Rainbow, what App can I use to listen to Christian songs?…
◎ Listener from China: …I want to thank the production team of the program - “Popcorn”. My grandchildren love listening to this programs. Recently, you’ve been turning Bible characters into story-based programs—this is wonderful! May God grant you wisdom to create even better programs suitable for children… Although teenagers cannot attend church, these programs allow believers to sow gospel seeds for their children at home…
[Comments from Bible Correspondence Course Students]
◎ Student Sun: …Many years ago, I accepted Jesus as my Savior and have never doubted His work in my life. Along the way, I have made mistakes, but I received His forgiveness and His light shining on my dark places, leading to transformation. Now, amid turbulent times with a loved one about to pass away, God has raised up more people to stand by my side. Thank You, God!…
◎ Student Chen: …First of all, I am grateful to this bible correspondence course. It has helped me know myself better and draw me closer to the Heavenly Father. I am willing to accept Jesus as my Guide, Savior to rely on. Through the course, while learning about the Bible, I have been drawn near to Jesus Christ step by step…
◎ Student Deng: …Peace in the Lord! I have a question. In the Bible, sometimes I
saw similar content in different places, such as the Beatitudes in Matthew Chapter
5, and starting from Luke 6:20 also discussing the Beatitudes. Was it written by the
same person, or did different authors record the same words from different
perspectives? Does that mean this event really happened that different people
who had ever heard it just put it to records, which further increases the credibility
of the Bible. As this shows that Jesus really existed, and those were truly God’s
words. These are some small questions in my heart…
◎ Student Yang: …Thank you for giving me the opportunity to come to know the one and only God deeper through the correspondence course… Although I have only been a believer for a short six years… and have never experienced church life, I deeply long for the church environment that provides many learning opportunities… I think this will be my goal for life after being released from prison. Although the day of release is still far away, I will strive and persevere. Please give me more encouragements and guidance that my spiritual journey may not be turbulent. We know that all things work together for good to those who love God. I read the Bible every day, mostly in the morning, and mostly the New Testament. Although I don’t read large portions and often cannot remember all the words in the Bible, I always receive the touching inspiration that the Bible brings—this is one of the reasons I believe in God…
