I am Mikko Matikainen, the Executive Director of Media Mission the Messengers, also known as Sansa, from Finland. It’s a great joy for me and Sansa to congratulate and bless Voice of Salvation on your 50th anniversary. Sansa was founded just a year before you, and we’ve been partners since the very beginning. While people have changed over the years, our shared mission and calling have remained the same.

Thank you for your faithfulness and love, especially in your work with Chinese-speaking people globally—through radio and media. With one-sixth of the world speaking Chinese as their heart language, your mission is both vast and vital. Jesus seeks to reach all who speak Mandarin, no matter where they live.

Our joint work is about sharing God’s love through the media—whether through radio waves or other forms. This love isn’t just words; it’s shown in actions and faithfulness, something I see reflected in your ministry as I think about the five decades you've spent building God’s Kingdom. Your vision—'Let all the Chinese around the world hear the voice of salvation!'—has truly left a lasting impact.

I hold a cross made by one of our supporters who recently lost his wife. Despite his personal challenges, he continues making these crosses, reflecting the faithfulness that undergirds our mission. It’s people like him, and local churches around the world, who make our shared mission possible.

As you celebrate 50 years, remember that Jesus has been with you through every season, allowing you to grow stronger through both challenges and blessings. And as we look ahead to the future, let’s continue walking together. We are committed to ensuring that the gospel reaches every Chinese-speaking person, wherever they are.

Our partnership remains essential, and we look forward to many more years of working side by side in fulfilling this great mission. Together, with God’s guidance, we will ensure that the voice of salvation reaches every corner of the Chinese-speaking world. By presenting this cross, I wish you abundant blessings from God for the next 50 years. May Jesus be with you always.
